I hope you're all well.

I just wanted to start by saying I'm sorry that I haven't written on my blog or uploaded a new video to my YouTube Channel recently as I've been so busy with work and haven't have any time to put into my channel at all! :(

But next Monday is my estimated date for delivery of the new Limited Edition Harrods Glossy Box which I cannot wait to receive! So I'll do a video on that next week a day or two after I've got it then do a full review on here for you all!

February Glossy Box Review

Hellooooo!

I hope you're all having a good week so far!! :)

I'm going to do my in depth review of the latest edition of Glossy Boxes which is the February Fashion Week Edition as this week is London Fashion Week! All the products in my box this month are designed to keep you looking and smelling your best throughout the day as well as to keep you going!

The Glossy Box colour is now back to the usual dusty pink instead of the Limited Edition 'December Christmas' and 'January Valentine's' boxes. This boxes came with several different 'cards' this month. Along with the usual products card, it also came with a leaflet with information on London Fashion Weekend and a 'Expect the Unexpected' card which is quite exciting!

So now you've seen all the not so exciting bits which I always show for new people to my blog we can now move onto what I received in my box this month! I'll also add in a point as to why it's great for 'keeping you looking and smelling your best throughout the day as well as to keep you going' for the theme of this month's box :)

Number 1. DuWop Venom Lipgloss (Buttercup)

This lipgloss is fantastic! It's one of those where it tingles when you have it on your lips and it plumps them slightly and it's been seen as an 'alternative to lip fillers' I don't think it gives that much of an effect, but it's nice to try something different! I got the colour 'Buttercup' and it's a lovely brown/beige/pink with sparkles although the pink doesn't show up too well in this picture. It's a small handbag size which is great for carrying around all day in your bag and topping it up as and when you need to!

Number 2. Dr Bronner Lavender Hand Sanitizer

Hand sanitizers are always great to carry around for when you need a quick spritz but this one has the added bonus of having such a great scent to it too!

When you first spray it, it's quite faint but as it dried on your hands, the smell builds in strength to give a wonderful strong lavender smell as well as killing germs. It is also a fair trade product so if you like that sort of stuff along with all the other great features then this would suit you well!

It's also a good handbag size again so you can just use it as and when you need it :)

Number 3. Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm

I haven't used this product yet as I don't like to use too may products in my hair as it makes it greasy but I will try this at some point. It is designed to smooth and relax your hair. You'd use it while your hair is still damp and then style it normally to achieve a more relaxed hair style which would be great if you have wavy hair - like me! So I'll update this once I've used it and put up a few pictures of the finished look!

Number 4. BM Beauty Pure Mineral Eyeshadow (Wolf Howl)



This colour is really beautiful blue/purple and full of sparkle and is called 'Wolf Howl'. However, it looks really pigmented but doesn't swatch very well and takes a lot of building up in order to get a good strong colour. I presume this is because it's quite a fine powder and maybe being a 'mineral powder' has something to do with it. So, it is a nice colour, but I'm slightly disappointed that it's so misleading with the pigmentation! :(

Number 5. Como Shambhala Invigorate Shower Gel

I love shower gels which wake you up in the morning and smell really fresh and vibrant and this is one of those! It smells as though you've just walked into a spa. I have the scent 'eucalyptus, geranium, lavender and peppermint' which is a strong combination which really wakes you up and makes you feel fresh. This size is great for overnight travelling and fits to the theme of this box perfectly as it leaves a subtle smell on your skin too :)

That's everything I've receiver in my Glossy Box for this moth so I'm quite pleased, but it's not the best one which I received so I'm slightly disappointed, but there are stil some good products and I still enjoying receiving it each month and finding out what I've got!

As I said in my What I got for Christmas 2011 video I got 15 Nail Varnsihes from Models Own! :)

This will obviously take me a while to wear all of them, but I'll post three colours at a time to keep you all updated! :D

Number 1. Scarlet Sparkle

This is an absolutely gorgeous vibrant sparkly red. I wore it just after Christmas as it's so festive but can still be worn at any time of year. It is FULL of glitter and looks beautiful as it reflects so much light and really stands out, this is definitely already one of my favourites! :)

Number 2. Purple Grey

This colour is great for me as I have quite pale skin naturally, so in the winter it looks really good! :) It's a deep purple with a hint of grey but it's still a lovely colour, great for this season. It's a matte colour but with a top coat it has a great shine to it.

Number 3. Raspberry Crush

This final colour is beautiful! It's a vibrant pink/red, I know it's more of a summery colour, but I LOVE having pink nails and have resisted it for so long, I ended up giving in to this gorgeous colour. It's matte, but with a good top coat stands out and I've had loads of comments on it! :)

Glossy Box January Review (Valentine's Box)

Here's the latest edition of the Glossy Box's, the January 2012 Valentine's Box!!

Number 1. Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner

This is a gorgeous quality eyeliner which gives an intense colour and lasts all day long! It's size and shape helps you to create precise definiton to your eyes. The colour which I received is 'Powder Pink' it's not a dark colour, however it's great for using under your eyes or the inside of your lower eyelid to highlight and open up your eyes.

Number 2 & 3. Clarins Extra Firming Day & Night Cream

I've heard lots of great reviews of Clarins products before however, this sort of product isn't something which I would usually use as I don't need to so I can't really comment on it. However, I'm sure that either my Mum or Nanna will be willing to use it and let me know how well it works and what they think of it so I will update this blog when they've got an opinion on it! Sorry!

Number 4. FAB Gentle Body Wash

This is such a sweet smelling body wash, it's lovely. I've never heard of these products before but it's an amazing quality body wash, it's suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin which is great for me as I can't use strong ones. It's lovely to use and leaves you smelling sweet when you come out of the shower too!

Number 5. Murad Skin Perfecting Primer

This is a lovely tinted primer which gives you a 'radiant glow'. It suits my skin perfectly due to the colour of foundation that I use however, it wouldn't be so suitable if you have pale skin. It's a liquid and spreads easily on your face to give you that slight 'glow' I like this, however I probably won't be buying a full size one because I prefer using my normal L'Orale primer and Max Factor Foundation, but it's still a good product!

This months Glossy Box has had a mixture of excellent and OK products for me. Some of them either aren't applicable to what I need or use where as others are perfect for me! It's just the luck of the draw, btut here is no doubt that Glossy Box still give you high quality product samples at the fraction of the price and I still love it and can't wait to get next months and show you all!

Glossy Box December!

This is my first blog/review of a Glossy Box so it will be in a little more detail than the rest of the ones I'll do in following months but I'll keep it as interesting as possible! :)

So for December they changed the colour of the box from it's usual dusty pink to this gorgeous patent red. Inside the box, it has a bow tied around the products and is sealed with a Glossy Box sticker. It's always exciting to see what's in the Glossy Bx each month, that's part of the fun and the gorgeous products you get are a bonus!

Every month with your Glossy Box, you get a card showing you what you've got, how much it is in full size, where you can buy your own from, a URL to scan with your phone and sometimes they offer you exclusive offers on the products too! Along with this, this month, we also received a 'Glossy Box for Men' card advertising their new product available for males who want to experience Glossy Box too!

Number 1. Blink + Go Eyeshadow and Blush Palette

This is such a cute, handy compact. It comes with a small mirror, 6 eyeshadow shades, 2 blush shades and a double ended brush. It's just everything you need for a day out and is the perfect size for your handbag.

The colours are highly pigmented and vibrant. You can get different palettes but I love the one which I was sent as the colours are exactly what I would normally use. The eye shadows are perfect for smoky eyes and the blushes are beautiful.

Number 2. Cargo Cosmetics Classic Lip Gloss

I love this colour, it's a really light pink with lots of sparkle. It adds a shine and sparkle to your lips as well as a little bit of colour. One thing which I hate about normal lip glosses is that they're so sticky and your hair gets stuck to your lips which is so annoying, but this wasn't sticky at all and looks beautiful on, I'm so please with it!

Number 3. Deborah Lippmann Nail Varnish & Stripper to Go Sachet

I've never heard of Deborah Lippmann products before but I've already had a look at some of her polishes and they are absolutely gorgeous so I will be purchasing some of my own soon! This colour is gorgeous!! Its a purple/red/pink glitter filled colour and is so beautiful. It's called Razzle Dazzle so the name says it all really! I only tried it on one finger the other day but it looks great on and when I get round to wearing it, I'll take a photo and put the swatch along with a full review in a later blog! It also comes with this amazing nail polish remover which works amazingly, I was stunned by how quickly and easily it brought it off and I'll also be buying some of those too!

Number 4. Nip + Fab Spot Fix

I, as a lot of us do have the odd development of a spot and it's one of the worst things and always appears when you least want it! I've always used face wipes and tea tree things to treat and blemishes but I decided to give this a go on a small red lump which was a little sore, I put a bit on before bed and by the next morning it had completely gone, and no more pain! I was so pleased and you can use it as and when you please so there are no time limits on how often to use it, it works instantly and I'm going to continue using it as and when I need to!

Number 5. Rituals Foaming Shower Gel

If you've ever tried Imperial Lather Shower Gel and loved it, then you're most certainly going to love this! It's just the same, you put it into your hand as a gel and as soon as it touches water, it turns into a foam. I love it just for that reason never mind the refreshing smell. I received Fresh Eucalyptus & Rosemary which is great to use in the morning to wake you up and the foam is also good to use if you shave your legs in the shower too! :)

What I got for Christmas Photos!

I hope that you've all had a great week and are enjoying your weekend so far. I first of all need to apologise for being so slow on getting round to doing blogs of my videos and keeping you updated on them! Work has just been so mad recently, but I've got some spare time this afternoon to write a few blogs! This is going to be quite a long one, but please bare with me!

This purse is absolutely gorgeous, I love it! The leather is so soft and it's for a really funky patent leather design on the front which makes it quite different too. It has loads of compartments for your change, cash and cards and also another two cash slots at the back which opens and closes with those two gold balls you can see at the top of the picture.

Maybelline Gel Eyeliner

This is the first gel eyeliner with a brush that I've ever used and to be honest, I was expecting it to be quite tricky but I was proven completely wrong. When I first got it, as always, I like to try things out as soon as possible and within 10 minutes I'd created gorgeous, black flicks along my eyes, which were easier than using a normal liquid eyeliner! I was amazed and now this is all I use, I love it and you have so much control of how much you want to put on and how thick you want your line, it's great, I love it!

53mm Denman 'Head Hugger' Hair Drying Brush

I've needed a new hair drying brush now for a while, and I didn't actually get given this for Christmas, I got it after, but I guess it still kind of counts! It's absolutely amazing, the hourglass shape of the brush means that you can get it right down to your scalp and helps add amazing volume and shine to your hair easily!

Whitening Lightning Super Booster Whitening Pen

My teeth have always bugged me and I've had them whitened a couple of times before and it usually costs a lot for something that only seems to last for just over a week! I was watching someones review on this a few months ago and their results were amazing so I decided to give it a go myself and I can honestly say that in just a week, my teeth were so much whiter and because you have your own whitening method, you can do it as often or little as you like! I really never expected it to work as well as it has and I will be doing a review video on them soon with pictures to show you all! :)

 Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primers the best, they work amazingly and you can get them in several different shades to suit your make-up for the evening. The one which I've got is the original which dried invisibly, it's great for any skin tone because of this and you can apply whatever shades you want on top, it's the chameleon of primers! This is the professional size and you can get them in smaller sizes, I just got this one because I use it so much and it will last me a lot longer. It is quite expensive but can save you £7!

15 Models Own Nail Polishes

This collection was chosen entirely by me. Models Own have a fantastic set available where you can buy 15 nail polishes for £50. The great thing is that you get to choose every colour, so you can create your own unique set of stunning polishes without having to buy a pre-made set and not liking any of them! It took me two days to choose which ones I wanted as they have such a wide range you can choose from. Before now, I'd never used their polishes but I decided to drive in at the deep end by buying their largest selection available, and I am not disappointed! I've used two of the colours now and they are so rich, I've had loads of comments on both of them and I take photos each time I get a different colour so I will do a post of swatches so you can see what they look like on, but as you can see, it will probably take me a while to wear all of them, so I'll do few at a time!

Barbour Scarf

Barbour clothes are such amazing quality and I love all their products. I already have a gorgeous Barbour Jacket with a red lining so I got given this at Christmas to match it and I love it! It's so soft, not itchy as you would expect, and is quite long so you can wrap it round your neck several times to keep you warm in the winter!

Valentina by Valentino Perfume & Body Lotion Set

I love this perfume, as I do all my others but this one is different as it's a soft flowery smell. I usually go for stronger ones as I don't like perfumes which don't last all day and are weak. This one however, combines a beautiful soft smell with the strength to last all day which is brilliant! The bottles themselves are beautiful and delicate which reflect the smells inside, and the box is absolutely gorgeous! It has a little handle on the lid and feet on the bottom, I'll definitely be keeping this one to store other little bits!! I didn't expect to like it so much, but it has really grown on me!

Lady Million by Paco Robanne Perfumer & Body Lotion Set

I've had this perfume for a while now and was running out so I was lucky enough to get another for Christmas! The smell, is strong and lasts all day long, its quite feminine but powerful. I love this perfume and always wear it whether I'm at home, or going out, it works for anything. Like the Valentina Perfume, the tin it comes in is so cool, it's a golden safe and the dials can turn too. (I thought it was a puzzle to open at first!)

I love anything that's over the top and sparkly, so this for me was a perfect match! This is such an amazing website, they have so many different designs and even if you can't find the one that you're quite looking for with their amazing range, you can even request your own at an small added cost! If that wasn't enough, they can also create a case for pretty much any smartphone out there as well as iPads and iPods. They're so unique, they take about 3 weeks to arrive, but they're all handmade with Swarovski Crystals and turn your phone into a true statement piece!

Enrapture Extremity Heated Hair Rollers

I've fallen head over heels in love with these rollers, they are the most amazing things that I've ever used on my hair for curling. They take a matter of minutes to heat up and 10 minutes to cool down, overall creating glamorous curly locks in under half an hour with nearly no effort at all!

This is just a short 'review' of them as I've done a tutorial and will be doing a much longer blog with photos to follow as there is so much amazing stuff to tell you about!
